Celebrate the longest days of the year through creativity, tradition, and contemporary art.

Inspired by the Ukrainian celebration of Ivana Kupala, spend a weekend with exhibiting artist Erin Suliak creating a one-of-a-kind contemporary vinok (flower crown). Using beads, floristry materials, found objects, and optional keepsakes from home, participants will explore techniques for constructing decorative elements and assembling them into a unique wearable crown or sculptural display piece.

No two vinky are alike. Inspired by memory, nature, and place, each piece becomes a personal expression of story and creativity.

No experience is necessary—all materials are provided. Simply bring your curiosity.

Members: $135 | Non-Members: $150

Presented in conjunction with Erin Suliak: Vinok – Gathered in the North, opening June 18 at the Ukrainian Museum of Canada.
